Why have  your Turkey Hunt at Shamrock Safaris?
  • First, there's need to scout out the roosts!  All Shooting areas are near known roosts and feeding areas, so you can spend your time calling and shooting, rather than searching for activity areas.  Some roosts are used by as many as 400 Birds.
  •  Our selection of shooting areas gives your hunt it's best chance of success.
  • You can call your own birds.  Or, if you wish, Shamrock Safaris can provide a guide to assist in calling the birds at no extra cost!
  • Taxidermy available thru
  • Wildlife Taxidermy and Huntin', Madison, TN.  Meat processing to any stage available locally.

  What you Get...Your Hunt:

  • Day 1 (Not included in Hunt Cost):  Arrival.  You may either drive in or Shamrock Safaris is an easy drive from Amarillo International Airport.  If you choose to fly in, rental cars are available at the airport or we can offer limousine pickup.  (Call for details).  That evening, enjoy a hearty, home cooked dinner, as part of your package.
  • Days 2, 3, 4 (or more, if you wish):  Wake before daybreak to a light continental-style breakfast, then take our free transportation to the hunting areas.  Hunt until approximately 10:30 when the game activity lessens, then back to the lodge for a hearty home-made breakfast buffet (Or, if you wish, pack a lunch and hunt all day.)   Around 3:00 it's back to your shooting area for more hunting.  At sundown, we bring you back to the lodge for a home cooked dinner.  After that, you can enjoy satellite TV in our common area and share the day's stories with your friends, old and new.
  • Last day:  All good things must come to an end, and so does a Shamrock Safaris Hunt.  You may either leave after hunting or you may stay over and leave in the morning.  Again, limo service is available to Amarillo International Airport.
